Creature Comforts provides daily and semi-daily walks and play dates. You will see the same core group pictured over and over on the site:
The young Australian Cattle Dog: Bonanza Jellybean, is my addition to the crew along with my 9 year old Belgian Malinois, Fancy, and my 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Britney.
Heidi and all three of my crew are hard core fetching fanatics. Even non-fetchers have a strong desire to chase and will run back and forth with the fetchers which is great exercise. Abby and Heidi are kind enough to lend us their very large yard for days when temperatures make midday walking unpleasant.
Our walks include some basic, foundation rules:
Your pup doesn't do any of this? Not a problem because the first two months of your daily walks are a training package. During these first two months, your dog and I are on a sort of probation while you and I decide if my daily walk package is the best solution for you. All dogs and owners are different and a variety of things work best for each individual. The above is what I have found to work for me when walking a group of fairly rowdy K9s. I have yet to meet an owner who does not want their pet
Also part of the daily package are: at least three times a week tooth brushing, some basic coat brushing, lots and lots of recalls, occasional field trips, a filled Kong when the dog is returned home, lots of treats, praise, exercise, love and affection.
During the two month initiation to daily walks: either the owner or I can decide at any point that the situation is just not working and I will try to help you find another solution for your daily care needs.
Pricing:
Daily walks within two blocks of Blenheim Drive are $12/walk. The training walks are for the first two months of a new dog walking then the dog goes to the regular daily walk price.

This is all accomplished through posititive reinforcement, praise, treats and kind words. I use Gentle Leaders plus a food program for serious pullers or when starting a new puppy. I believe that the walks are for THE DOGS so we stop and sniff as often as they desire.
- No pulling harder on the lead than would pull it off my finger if it were just draped over my hand
- No changing sides behind me
- Never allow an object to get between you and me (trees, light posts, mailboxes, etc.)
- We stop and wait before crossing the street
- We do random recall exercises while we are walking
- We move to the side and sit CALMLY when another person and/or dog is walking along the sidewalk
- Everyone sits and stays while I am scooping poop

Postive reinforcement training is fun for everyone. It is wonderful for children who could not implement a more traditional force based training regime. As part of your two month training package you get 30 minutes a week of individual personalized training for you, your family and your dog.
- to come when called
- to not drag people around on the end of the leash
- and to be still when asked
